Experience Filipino flavours through wine
7000 Islands Wine Co. in collaboration with Filipino Food Movement Australia Inc. (FFMA) hosted Australia's 1st Filipino Food & Wine Pairing evening on Friday 14 October 2022, at the Pamana Filipino Restaurant in Chatswood, NSW.
Classic Filipino dishes were paired with handpicked Australian wines to showcase the distinctness of Filipino food. The first event in this pop-up series was led by Siegfrid Gueco Bacani, wine entrepreneur and founder of 7000 Islands Wine Co.
During this historic evening, SBS Filipino, food bloggers, honourable guests from the Philippine Consulate General Sydney, members of the Filipino-Australian community, family and friends were treated to a truly unique experience - learning about how Australian wine perfectly complements Filipino cuisine.
